Dr. Coats does not do cleanings for Opencare referrals. This referral service is for immediate problems with teeth that require immediate treatment. Dr. Coats focuses on comprehensive dentistry for middle aged patients with a primary focus on emergency treatment, such as painful teeth needing root canals and fillings, broken teeth needing crowns and missing teeth needing replacement. Dr. Coats believes in saving teeth. He believes extractions are a very last resort and when an extraction is necessary or teeth are already missing, Dr. Coats replaces teeth with a lower cost and what he believes, is a more long term procedure than an implant called a fixed bridge. Fixed bridges have been used and perfected over many decades.
