Dr. Chris Lan

Dr. Chris Lan is originally from Edmonton. He first developed an interest in Dentistry as a young boy, when he had the opportunity to shadow his family dentist for a day. That set him on the path to becoming a dentist. Dr. Lan graduated with his DMD dental degree from Boston University in 2008. After completing his dental residency in New York in 2009, Dr. Lan moved to Calgary to join several of his best friends who had already made Calgary their home. Dr. Lan has been practicing in Calgary for the past 12 years. As a general dentist and certified Invisalign provider he brings his passion and dedication for helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams as well as maintain the function of their teeth. Dr. Lan is also trained to offer dental sedation options to help nervous and anxious patients relax during their dental treatment. Chris has been giving back to the community since 2014, with several dental missions with Kindness in Action, twice to Nicaragua, and once to Peru in the Amazon Basin. He has taken extensive ongoing continuing education courses to make sure his knowledge and skill are always up to date. Dr. Lan is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and College, as well as the Canadian Dental Association. In his personal time, Chris enjoys relaxing at home, spending time with his family and friends, as well as fishing, skiing, and playing hockey.
