Dr. Meggan Schiffner

Dr. Meggan Schiffner’s passion is treating families and developing lasting relationships with each one of them. Her treatment plans are always centred around her patients’ comprehensive dental health with a focus on prevention and education, starting with patients as young as 1. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is specifically experienced in children’s dentistry, crowns, bridges, fillings, implant restoration and sedation dentistry. She participates in outreach and speaking, as well as educating children in our local Calgary schools. She also works with mom’s groups, discussing healthy habits for expecting and new moms, along with their newborns. She recently completed a 5 year commitment with the Calgary District and Dental Society. She held the position of Social Chair, Vice President, President and Past President. Dr. Schiffner grew up in the small town of Lodi, in Northern California. She went to college in San Diego, where she completed her B.S. in Biology. For dental school, she attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco. She then moved to Dallas, Texas, where she practiced general dentistry before she moved to Calgary to be with her husband. In her free time, Dr. Schiffner enjoys spending time with her family and exploring what Calgary has to offer with her two children Sterling and Scarlett. She also enjoys travelling; her most recent trips have been to France, Croatia, St. Lucia, Egypt, Australia and Costa Rica
