Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I am a Diplomat with the American Board of Oral Implantology. I'm one of 3 active, board-certified implantologists in the state of South Carolina. I joined my father's practice after a 2 year hospital residency at Louisiana State University. Because of this intense program which dealt with surgery, implants and anesthesia, I was able to implement my extensive training into the program at Palmetto Dental Services. Most of our patients do not need to be referred to an oral surgeon. I am able to perform most third molar extractions in office. I also work with sleep apnea patients.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I specialize in implants, sedation dentistry and extractions.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am most proud of the service that I provide to our special needs children and adults. Some of our patients are so medically fragile or developmentally delayed that we are unable to accommodate them in office. I am a resident at Palmetto Richland Hospital so once a month, I am able to treat special needs patients in that secure setting. I am one of the few dentists who offers this service, so I am referred patients from all over the state. Of course, I am very proud to be in practice with my father and my cousin. I'm proud that we have a practice where everyone feels like family, from staff to patient to sales rep!

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy helping patients who thought their smile could not be restored, whether it be because of an extensive medical history or those that have severe decay. I enjoy being able to provide them with the dental care they deserve.
