Dr. Gloria B. Maczuga-Stern, DMD

Dr. Stern received her doctorate of medical dentistry degree (D.M.D.) from the University of Connecticut in 1998. Since then she has practiced general dentistry in New York and Connecticut, treating pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Her own personal experience with TMD led her to pursue further training to be able to offer her patients a nonsurgical, noninvasive method of treatment. She has received advanced training in temporomandibular disorders and sleep disorder dentistry from the Institute of TMD and Sleep Disorders and the Craniofacial Pain Center at Tufts University, practicing a noninvasive, and non-surgical treatment philosophy. She strives to provide her patients with the highest level of care. Passionate about continually learning, she presently has over 1500 hours of advanced education including orofacial pain, tmj disorders, and sleep disorder dentistry. As a result she is able to offer her patients the latest advancements in this field. Dr Stern has received her Diplomate from the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Dr Stern resides in Fairfield with her husband Peter , and daughters Grace and Olivia. In her free time , she enjoys boating with her family,and gardening .
