Dr. Yolande Dmytrowski

Dr. Dmytrowski resides locally with her husband and their two young children. Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Dmytrowski speaks three languages: English, French, and Polish. A graduate of McGill University, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology (B.Sc., 1994) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S., 1998). Although she grew up in a family with no dentists, both she and her twin sister graduated from the same class and pursued careers as dentists! After leaving Montreal, Dr. Dmytrowski completed her residency program at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She then settled in Toronto where she practiced for 6 years. In 2005, she made Ottawa her new home, in order to be closer to her growing extended family. Dr. Dmytrowski is an avid student of continuing education courses, advancing her education, knowledge, and expertise on a regular basis. Currently she is pursuing courses through the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). LVI is one of the world’s premier postgraduate dental teaching centers. Her training involves enhancing the natural beauty of people’s smiles and treating neuromuscular disorders (eg. migraines, neck & shoulder pain, jaw pain/clicking/popping/dislocations, ringing in the ears…etc.) Dr. Yolande Dmytrowski also holds a membership with the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, as well as the Ottawa Dental Society. Being a member of these associations helps dentists stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession. Dr. Dmytrowski enjoys drawing, painting, playing piano, and singing. Although artistically inclined, she also pursued and enjoyed the rigours of science and felt a genuine draw to dentistry. "I felt that the combination of my artistic abilities, my science background and my genuine love for helping people, made it easy to see dentistry as a career", she reflected. "Crafting beautiful smiles and at the same time instilling hope, happiness and self confidence in the many faces I have seen over the years has confirmed for me, time and again, that I chose the right career path." Her sweet and fun-loving nature will endear Dr. Dmytrowski to you immediately. Her attention to detail and high standards, and genuine interest in her patient’s lives reflect both her professionalism and her compassion. Although she is passionate about dentistry, she also loves her chocolate BUT…always follows her own advice to floss and brush regularly! Dr. Dmytrowski is happy to welcome each of you to March Dental.
