Dr. Jason Hwang

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Dr. Jason Hwang is a dual Board Certified Dentist in both Canada and the US. Dr. Hwang practices a full spectrum of dentistry that includes restorative dentistry, dental hygiene, root canals, Invisalign, implants, extractions and cosmetics. He also has special training that allows him to provide IV sedation for nervous or anxious patients. Because of Dr. Hwang’s broad set of dental interests, he was a perfect candidate to join the Smile Centres. Drs Eisen, Guorgui and Ko enjoy working with him and trust their patients in his care. Major surgical cases are always handled with a team approach and Dr. Hwang’s experience and enthusiasm are valued by all. Dr. Hwang works at two of the Smile Centre locations; Markham Smile Centre and Barrie Smile Centre. All Smile Centre locations are modern, well equipped offices offering the newest techniques and technology. All offices are digital, paperless and employ highly trained support staff. Sterilization is a top priority as they meet or exceed all provincial, local and public health standards. Dr. Hwang enjoys entertaining and traveling; he has an active social media presence and is fluent in Koren and English.

Dr. Hwang practices full spectrum dentistry that covers routine dentistry including fillings, hygiene, and root canals, orthodontics with Invisalign, implant surgery, and cosmetics. “Acquiring surgical hand skills is a lifelong process even after dental school. I strive constantly to fine tune my skillsets for my patient’s benefit. I am attracted by the ability to enhance a patient’s smile because a healthy smile brings joy to not only themselves, but to everyone around them.”
