Dr. Kerry Olszewski

Dr. Kerry Olszewski moved back to Washington after graduating from Creighton University School of Dentistry, one of the most respected dental schools in the country. She graduated with a dual undergraduate degree from Seattle University in Business Economics and Marketing. Dr. Olszewski and her husband, Joe, are both originally from Gig Harbor, Washington, both graduating from Peninsula High School. They were married a few years after graduation on September 27, 2003. They spend their free time with their pugs (Ozzy, Guinness, Stella) fly fishing and visiting Walla Walla where her parents have a winery. Dr. Olszewski is no stranger to healthcare, as her father is a well-respected physical therapist. She is part of the Washington State Dental Society (WSDA), American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Spears Education and Eastside Treatment Planning Fellowship. She is currently working towards her Fellowship in General Dentistry, a comprehensive post graduation dental education, through the AGD. Dr. Olszewski, better known as Dr. O, and Joe chose their home in Mill Creek over eleven years ago; it has been her dream to live and serve within her own community.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

At Mill Creek General Dentistry we focus on total patient care instead of narrowing our focus to top three treatments. Dentistry encompasses many different disciplines that need to be addressed and evaluated for all of our patients. This can range from dental hygiene maintenance and education, full mouth reconstruction, dentures, TMJ, to a simple filling. There is no single thing a dentist should focus on. We, as patients, are very complex and the entire health and condition of each individual needs to be evaluated on a personal level!

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am very proud of all aspects of my practice. I was very fortunate to take over the care of the previous dentists patients! He was a very caring and exceptional dentist. My goal is to not only provide the most up to date care for my patients in regards to technology, patient education, low radiation with digital X-ray but most important is to provide a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for everyone. I want to provide the best with a dentist next door atmosphere. We are there with our team and I could not be more proud of them! Mill Creek General Dentistry has already had a considerable update to the office and we continue to add more! I am proud to have a Cigar Box Guitar hand made with it's biography. I also obtained my fathers personal pictures of Mt. St. Helens eruption of 1980. I love the history of the Pacific NW and hope my patients can this beauty as well.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and each patients specific needs. There is no aspect of dentistry that I do not either treat or collaborate with dental specialists on. Dentistry is a team effort and not one dentist can treat an extensive situation without an entire specialty team working for them. For cases specific to my office, I enjoy surgical periodontics, filling, endodontics, crown and bridge, implants, extractions, partial and full dentures. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and there challenges.
