Since graduation, he has accumulated over 1200 hours in Continuing Dental Education courses and has a special interest in: ◾Orthodontic and Orthopedic Treatment for children, teenagers and adults ◾Implantology (dental implant surgery and restoration, bone grafting, sinus lifts) ◾Cosmetic Dentistry and Full mouth rehabilitation ◾Kids dentistry ◾Extractions and bone grafting ◾Root Canal Therapy ◾Periodontal Gum Surgery (Plastic Gum Surgery, Gum Grafting, Crown Lengthening) ◾TMJ and Headache (Craniofacial – Head and Neck) Pain treatment using dental orthotics (aka splint) and physical modalities (ex. acupuncture, ultrasound, spray and stretch, HV stimulation, trigger point injections, cold laser treatment) ◾Sleep apnea He has completed extensive studies in the areas of Craniofacial (TMJ, head and neck) pain and Implantology (surgery and restoration). He obtained his: ◾Diplomate status with the American Board of Craniofacial Pain (only 9 dentist in Canada), ◾Distinguished Fellow status with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (only 18 dentist in Canada), ◾Fellowship with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (only 25 dentist in Canada), and ◾Associate Fellowship eligible with the American Academy of Implantology. ◾Fellowship from the Oral Surgery Academy of General Dentists He is currently a Member of the: ◾Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics (by invitation only) ◾American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) ◾International Association for Orthodontics. ◾Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association ◾American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) ◾Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) ◾Canadian Dental Association In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and his interests include photography, snorkeling, reading, and playing XBox 360.
