Dr. Lynda Tran

I graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and concurrently completed my MBA at the USF Graduate School of Management. Throughout my training, I developed a genuine appreciation for preserving tooth structure, restoring functionality, and creating natural aesthetics. To better serve my patients and to provide their families with the best, up-to-date care, I have gained additional training in cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, periodontal surgery, implant dentistry, laser dentistry, Invisalign®, oral sleep appliances, and oral conscious sedation. I am constantly in search of new techniques and innovative ways to provide my patients with the best care.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

As a family dentist, I believe my primary purpose is to provide my patients with the highest level of care under the most optimal level of comfort.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I truly enjoy general dentistry because I am able to provide patients with comprehensive dental care. We provide services from pediatric dental care to fabrication of dentures. The three most common treatments we provide for patients of all ages is preventive care, crowns (traditional and implants), and restorations (fillings).

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am excited to share that I recently received the 2015 Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentists (FAGD). As a recipient of this award, I have joined a select group of dentists committed to providing the highest level of dental care. Only about seven percent of general dentists are Fellows!

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Every patient is so unique. I enjoy learning about what patients are concerned about and working together to develop a personalized plan for their oral health!
