Welcome to Our Clinic, Edward Street Dental is a family general practice that provides Dentistry for awake patients or sleep (under sedation and General Anesthesia). The office was established in 1965, and continue to proudly serve Toronto and GTA areas. Our mission is to help patients live healthier lives. We provide a caring, relaxing environment where your comfort and health is of paramount importance.

What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?

We are an Anesthesia and Sedation specialty practice equipped with a dedicated general anesthesia facility. Our team can perform all dental procedures under general anesthesia, administered by a dental anesthesiologist (a dentist specializing in General Anesthesia), or while patients are awake. This option is especially beneficial for nervous patients, those who do not respond to conventional local anesthetics, children, patients with special needs, individuals with a strong gag reflex, or those with limited mouth opening. In addition to our in-house gum specialist (Periodontist) and Endodontist (root canal specialist), we offer advanced technology, including digital X-rays, Digital Panoramic X-rays, and the CEREC digital CAD/CAM system. This system allows us to create crowns, bridges, and veneers in a single visit—without impressions or temporary crowns—eliminating the need for a second appointment for permanent crown placement. We also have a denture specialist who provides both partial and complete dentures. Our experienced hygienists are available for regular cleanings and preventive care. All services, whether general or specialty, can be done under sedation or while awake, offering full-service dental care under one roof.

We have been proudly serving GTA and Ontario since 1965, with generations of families who have been at this office and are always happy and appreciative for the services we provide. The practice has never advertised, all our referrals were by word of mouth from satisfied patients.
