Early in my career as a general dentist I had some patients complaining of headaches and TMJ problems. A flyer had come across my desk about a program to learn more about TMJ and since they don't really teach the dentist in dental school how to treat TMJ. I decided to take the class and then came back and treated those patients with good results. I started attending more seminars to learn even more. So in 1990 I limited my practice and have continued my education. The more I learn the more I need to learn as one thing leads to another. There is so much more research and different ways to treat today, all of it making for more options resulting in better outcomes.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I stopped doing general dentistry 25 years ago to help patients with Temporomandibular Joint Issues and Sleep Apnea. I have continued my education to become the only provider in Eastern Oklahoma that is Board Certified in both modalities.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

TMJ, Headaches and Sleep Apnea

What are you proud of in your practice?

My staff is well trained to assist patients and are able to help me provide same day treatments.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

When my chronic pain patients start to feel better and come in for follow-up with smiles on their faces, well my staff and I really can't think of a better thing!
