Dr. Smedley loves to make people smile and is passionate about maintaining those smiles for her patients. She graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids in 1997, prior to receiving her Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Toronto. Dr. Smedley is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry. When she is not tending to her patients she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and traveling with her husband Shane, their two daughters, and doggie Blu.

What are you and your team proud of at your practice?

Dr. Meredith is the only biomimetic dentist in Michigan. She uses tooth-conserving dentistry that treats weak, fractured & decayed teeth in a way that keeps them strong and seals them from bacterial invasion. As a biological dentist, she strives to seek the safest, least toxic way to accomplish desired treatments. We use special techniques when removing mercury fillings. We have also designed a dental practice that reflects our commitment to the well being of our patients, team members, community, and environment. Through diligent planning we have created high performance green facilities that are a healthy, productive place to work, less costly to operate and maintain, and reduce our environmental footprint. After 5 years in practice, we feel so blessed my our family of patients and the community of Zeeland. In recognition, we are giving back to 5 local agencies with our time, talents and donations.
